Remember: the one - two punch: Toshiba (June 15) - Hitachi (June 22). License agreements in the suitcase.
0ne - two punch: NEC (today) - Samsung (within the next 5 to 10 days). The BUS is rolling again and the license compartment is getting loaded. The law suits are just positioning maneuvers for negotiations. Nobody will benefit from drawn out law suits. I hope for a steady climb with staying power not a nosebleed ascent.

NEC Corp., Rambus In New License Pacts

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- NEC Corp. (NIPNY) and Rambus Inc. (RMBS) signed new licensing pacts, including SDRAM, DDR, and RDRAM products.

In a press release Tuesday, the companies said the agreements include the development of the next-generation 1066MHz Direct RDRAM as part of a larger strategic alliance and a broader licensing agreement between the two companies.

Together they will develop and market the next-generation Direct RDRAM.

NEC is a semiconductor manufacturer.

Rambus designs, develops and licenses high-bandwidth chip-connection technology.
