<<Isn't that like throwing the dishes away when they get dirty?>>

Good point. I still haven't gone in to look at the new ones.

<<Well, if you've got time on your hands, but is it really worth it? I could see restoring one of those old teak Chris Crafts, those are beautiful.>>

This isn't one of those beautiful old Chris Crafts, this boat wasn't pretty even when it was new. He's looking to get the motor running and the tub not sinking, that's the project. The boat will be used for catfishing on a shallow river, one of those deals where you almost need a disposable boat and not something nice.

I did take a looky at some new Jeeps, trade, don't trade. Looked at some used ones too. Fewer miles.

The new ones all have leather seats in the V8. I don't care for leather, yes it's soft but guess which cheeks will be on it?

They had some Mountaineers which is the Mercury version of the Explorer. Looked at them. Oh boy. Let me write a check for $42k. The fucking things still had the Firestone tires that have killed so many people. For $42k I can have the tire blow apart and the damn vehicle roll over and bleed me to death. I mentioned this to the salesman and he asked which size tires were the bad ones. Fucking salesmen and saleswomen too. What size? The size that fits these things.
