Hi blake paterson; Actually, when Hitachi signed, I said it was significant. It was only when it leaked out that it was only a 6 month deal that I said it wasn't significant. Now NEC has signed, and that is significant, but not nearly as much as Micron, Infineon, or Hyundai would be.

The big battle over royalties is still to come.

By the way, I didn't mean to throw mud at richard surckla. For reference, here is my post:

"I truly hope that no one has SI delete this message of yours referring to zippers, putting out camp fires with urine, and possible sexual behavior involving yourself and another poster. It is a classic." #reply-14169479

He was quite proud of it. (Must have picked up the talent on Yahoo, I'd say.) Here is his reply to my post: "In any event I have to agree with you, for the first time ever, when you said, 'It is a classic.' " #reply-14197581

I'm sure he's pleased that at least the memory of his post lives on, like the memory of the picture postcard I sent Dave B. And anyway, lighten up dude. Rambus is going to rock tomorrow!
