Wasn't he just about ready to retire?

Someone will employ him though... And I would think that his qualifications would make him valueable to other nations like Taiwan. (barring the political repercussions from the US that would be involved)

I agree. He probably will work for a Taiwanese company, or be retired. My guess is some Taiwanese media would interview him and possibly write a book about him. Money starts talking here, and he is such an instant celebrity.
