And I appreciated seeing it, Scott. Sometimes reading inaccurate fud like that can be a useful exercise. It prompted me to look through the literature and confirm my understanding of Cisco's fundamentals, and I feel more comfortable because of it.

Scott & thread,
Held CSCO for several years and have taken a little off the top every split or 6-12 months for reinvestment purposes and have been very pleased. I know it was for discussion only and we have to be able to rebound.

It is not like we have not seen this action before. Most are out of marginable call range and we can ride out the storm. If one is writing covered calls this is somewhat of a blessing. If we follow the porch "opportunity creed" we win in the long run. The biggest asset we have right now is time. Last March; with margin, time worked against some of us; it will not this time, it is our ally.

Dollar cost average on these dips and write cc's for income or downside protection.

I for one am sleeping well and hoping I can pick some shares up in the 3500-3600 range.

Regards,
Dutch
