Pomp,

I just don't think this market, today, has any staying power.

How's this for a scenario? (and one we'll know the answer to by the end of the day <G>)

The SOX is a price-weighted index and RMBS makes up an unusually high percentage of the value, from what I remember. If RMBS gets enough of a pop today, that might make the SOX index appear to be reversing its downward trend and suck the other semis upward. Which may reignite the Naz.

Phew, the power of one press release! <G>

I have no idea if this makes sense, and I don't care as long as RMBS moves up. Like I say, we'll know by the end of the day.

Have a great one!

Dave
