That is so true. These stocks have years and years of aggressive broadband buildout expectations in them. If that doesn't happen, it ain't gonna be pretty.

My gut says that there won't be a slowdown. Just based on how all these companies report huge demand exceeding capacity, etc. But, that is in the past and you're right that until someone big refutes it, these stocks are stuck in the mud at best.

Financials are doing great as are oil stocks. I think oil stocks are sucking money out of techs. Now that everyone finally is getting on board with higher oil prices, maybe, just maybe, it will top out.

I totally missed the boat on fuel cell.

Corning to make DNA "micro-arrays", instruments that will speed the analysis of DNA. I don't know much about the technology and, although genomics sounds sexy, I don't know if this will amount to much. However, if they want to be the "arms merchants" to the genomics combatants, that is fine with me.
