"Scriptural style is known for its terseness and economy of language," Ever read the begats? I don't think the above statement of yours is accurate overall. SOME of the scripture is terse and SOME goes on endlessly meandering until you wonder if the writer was getting paid by the word- but without Dickensian talent.
