I told my father-in-law about six weeks ago that I thought the Naz would revisit its spring lows this Sept-Oct. I am not quite that negative right now, but it wouldn't surprise me to see the Naz hit the 3300-3400 range and CSCO dip down around its spring low (50-ish). I'm not planning to do any major position trades until after at least one major tech bellwether pre-announces: I predict we'll hear from LU one of these days. I have a pretty long wish list of Nasdaq companies I'd like to buy another 10-25 percent cheaper, but my gut feeling is that it's still a little early to commit significant funds to the long side (except for scalps and select short-term trades).
