Guys, you all are becoming sensitive. Did I say anything wrong in that post?? If I ever say anything that Un constitutional or extra constitutional, please let me know I will correct myself. Don't be threatened by my ideas. Yes citizenship test includes knowledge of constitution and since you guys brought it up, I will try to find a copy and go through it again. Also doesn't your constitution make any provisions for amendments to amendments, which could be debated? Are democrats doing something that is not in the constitution? As far as I am concerned, I came here because this land of opportunities (just not the economic ones.. I could have stayed back in India just as comfortably, with what I own there). I enjoy the same level of freedom in India that I enjoy here and I value it very much. It is the level of bureaucracy and corruption in India that I detest as they seem to slow down the growth pace. I share your passion for freedom and liberty just as much or may be even more. I have read history books which have shown different ways of achieving freedom. One of them was shown by Mahatma Gandhi by non violent means. Guns and bombs were used in our freedom struggle but that lead us no where. So I do have a different perspective. This does not mean that I am all out for banning guns in US. My position on this is still evolving particularly keeping the history in perspective.
