Hi Ram,

I find your post very interesting concerning "professionals" seeing WSTL only as a trading stock. Previous performance supports that idea and has passed though my head as well. I bought into WSTL on the promise of DSL and have not been impressed by the stock performance. For me, however, DSL must unfold more substantially before I decide.

The impact of the newly emerging technology is just beginning to be felt. WSTL's Webshare begins to hint at that impact. Those who see WSTL as just a modem maker lack the awareness, IMO, of the significance of DSL. It is much more than simply increasing the speed of the web. It is the promise of the ultimate delivery of the sensate world to fixed locations. The tomb has becoming a world onto itself.

WSTL in being able to deliver that promise has become a chief implementor in this creation. I am impressed with their awareness of this significance and believe they will prosper far beyond the CPE as these ramifications unfold. DSL's significance to changing the home and office may be as profound as the light bulb, phone, radio, television & computer all combined.

WSTL's significance as the Gateway Creator is perhaps only now beginning be appreciated and I also see key partners like Virata becoming intimately involve.

All the best,
Michael
