Re Gore and VP ticket: I don't think so, I believe Al was a politician of national stature by that time (and for several years prior to that). Brees, I hope you will also question the Bush supporters who raise inconsequential points (stiffness, etc.). I concede Gore does come across as stiff on camera, which is strange because he's not the least bit stiff in real life.
