"and women didn't get to write the religious texts. We'd have very different religions if women had gotten to write the texts-" Well that's your cue 'Siskel and Ebert' to get out some vellum and put on a hair shirt.

As usual you are wrong, the bible is divinely inspired, no man wrote it, it was written by God. The actual physical attributes of many bible authors are unknown, they could have been men or women, e.g. the writers of the first five books could have been women inspired by God, no one knows who wrote Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. Judges, Ruth, parts of Joshua could have been written by women. Esther was probably written by a woman and no one knows who wrote Job.
