No one is forcing them to conform to religious teachings
Oh, things like same sex marriage. What's it harm? It's only an effort to make everyone conform to a religious viewpoint that keeps it prevented. Things like a moment of silence before the game, why? those that want to shut up for a miniute can do it whenever they want (except maybe in a court).
