Amy - Re: "Paul & Elmer, did you buy any more INTC today? "

I sold Puts on Intel today - October $55s for $1 5/8.

If Intel goes below this in October, I may then take delivery of the shares at a net cost of $53 3/8.

I also sold AMD puts as well.

Paul

I plan to buy tomorrow (too busy today). I firmly believe the forecasts of slower demand are totally wrong.

<Intel really has large swings in its stock price that
can make for great buying opportunities.
Amy, 61 3/8 was a good buy. I missed the opportunity, was out of office. It sounds like Paul had good strategy writing the Oct. 55 puts at 1 5/8. 53 5/8 is a great price to own Intel. I'll go long shortly and buy here, and a second and third time lower if required. CISCO also looked attractive yesterday at 58 so I'll probably buy both.
