>>>A most interesting and amusing point is that Mr. Livermore received the same lecture that you did in recent days.<<<

I don't receive lectures. I attend them. However, I'm not sure what you're referring to.

>>>Since you did not counter his arguments of why he thinks EDIG is a good short,<<<

Is it prudent to short a stock which any minute could attain its Nasdaq listing, and one which is taking Compaq's position in developing the Cleo portable jukebox which will play 3000 hours of CD music; and a stock which only yesterday appointed a high ranking Intel executive to its board? Seems the mo-mo's still going away from a short, not with one.

>>>I will disregard your calling him a 'distortionist'.<<<

Perhaps my language was too severe. If so, I apologize. However, his facts were not in tune. He was recommending shorting EDIG at five, which happens to be the magical mark needed for its nasdaq listing. It's held five now for six days.

>>>If you think I'm impressed by a post with a hundred or more links you would be mistaken.<<<

I wasn't trying to impress you. I only linked Tinroad's post because the writer has kept a journal of facts relative to EDIG. You had asked for "facts" and there are many within the Tinroad post. I'm not attempting to convince you as to the quality of EDIG. I ended up here responding to misrepresentations by Jesse Livermore, while conducting a search on another matter.

>>>I have found these kinds of posts to show up much more often on the threads of worthless stocks than those of good investments.<<<

So have I. But worthless stocks don't partner with partners like EDIG has. ( See www.edig.com )

>>>The membermark system on RB is junk. It is more of a popularity vote, and those who hype junk stocks long have been known to have the max number of $ beside their names, while the righteous critics of these same stocks can have none.<<<

You're right regarding the membermark system. All one need do is participate heavily on a popular thread and write popular messages. Which is precisely why I wrote RB requesting a system to reward valued criticism, although I'm not sure you and I agree on what constitutes "valued criticism." As an aside, please note my $$$$ come not from my participation on the EDIG thread, but most likely from receiving multiple Top Posts from other investments. Further, I don't think RagingBull's $$$$ system has been effect long enough to make a judgment on it.<<<

>>>Also, all one has to do is go to the Powerate thread and anyone can have 4 $ too. It is a totally worthless system, IMO.<<<

A bit humiliating to visit the PowerRate Thread, wouldn't you agree?

MamaBear--Here's an example of a quality critic, a response and a reply:

NOTE: The writer criticizing also has $$$. From my experience, I notice that RB writers who mislead or post falsely or obnoxiously are the ones most likely to lose their dollar symbols. However, I don't discount the possibility that a piling on effect can happen.
