Michael,

I've asked this question on Westell YHOO thread a few times with no success, so Im hoping you or someone with possibly technical expertise and/or a longer history of Westell investing can shed some light.

Can someone please explain the significance of Teltrend and what it brings to Westell over the long run? Also, whatever bullish arguements are made for the above question, why was the company showing revenue DECELERRATION over the last quarter it was public (something like falling from $24.5 M to $23.5M) why would Westell pay up for this sort of performance, and further how does it fit into their longer range plans??

The market is viewing Westell as a potential DSL play and buying non DSL assets to me seems to go against the grain of everything management is issuing press releases about, is talking about at road shows, is affecting the stock price, etc.

Last, does anyone know where the 22M shares of Westell that was given to Teltrend went?? I see 140K went to that Howard guy (who is now a director) who sold 70K of his 140K shares immediately, but where are the other 22M shares aside from pension plan or things like that.

Somehow, someway 6-7M shares of Teltrend were converted to 22M shares of Westell and I'm unable to account for them at this point.. even if 2 or 3M went to former Teltrend employees the vast majority are unaccounted for; where are they sitting?

Thanks in advance for any answers..
Mark
