All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860)

Mq, I dislike trees and forests. Give me bare granite, alpine lakes and naked streams licking frozen shores. Forests make me claustrophobic.

It's this here type of post of yours that makes me double bookmark stock threads on SI...
...well, at least I can pretend to be under a double six pack of Guiness when I see doubles.

Just curious, do you do trading ranges?

And what the hell is a douchebag anyway? Jon, can you help us here? I mean what does it really mean if someone is a douchebag? Am I spelling this right?

That does it...i'm confused. I'm unbookmarking!!!!! Teachers told me never to mark on my books anyway. But then again, what the hell did they know.

Off Topic and not very relevant
I like your teaching techniques.
Chimplike creatures=>chimplikes=>chimpLs=>CLs. Kind of like the exhibit at the Natural History Museum back in the 40's showing the development of horses from small ones to big ones in a nice linear way. Trouble was that someone fudged the data. Turns out that there were a few big ones interspersed between the smaller ones.
Just like QCOM dropping once in a while. The end result will be fantastic.

re: CLs being told what It wanted:

I see the potential for a great Science Fiction novel. I also see the potential for a very risky investment method.

You would have bought RCA in 1928, at a zillion times forward earnings. There is a very long list of AmazingNewTechnologies that either didn't get adopted, or didn't make anyone any money. Or didn't make the pioneer any money. Or whose stocks got about 20 years ahead of themselves.
