FONX appears in latest edition of Technology Investor Magizine along with other speech companies. Article entitled "Getting Your Money Where Your Mouth Is."

Articles says that deals with Matsushita(MC), Microsoft(MSFT), and Naunce(nuan) amount to Fonix "emerging from its development stage" with "speech recognition software specially made to fit on chips for PDAs and cell phones." Specifically, it says "Fonx is going from being a development-stage company to a revenue sustaining company."

Fonix VP Lynn Shepherd is quoted mentioning that Fonix memory requirements are "significantly" smaller than its competitors, and he mentions the compatibility with Compaq's iPaq Pocket PC running Intel's Strong Arm Processor. He indicates Fonix can voice enable contact information for 500 names on a contact manager.
