Sure, LG. You know, you might just have the top model! Kasparov versus Deep Blue. Market models are nowhere near up to the form of Deep Blue yet [I guess] and maybe you are as good as Kasparov on 'this just looks right' - type analysis, at which humans are great.

I don't think I've ever criticized short positions. I think shorts are the bravest and most knowledgeable - they are trying to speculate on the models and the sheople and I'm not game to try that - though I've been tempted for years and even formed a company with a view to using it to take on D E Shaw and the models [and sheople] in trading and pure TA....I was too chicken and it would have been too much work.....so I'm still a dumb LTBH type.

In fact, I think I was a supporter of you in your early Short This Sucker incarnation [though not of course of the idea of TA - just the idea of you posting].

Mqurice

PS: Thanks LG - I'm glad you liked them...you want an address to send me a cheque/check?

>> Maurice Winn: I must tell you, I have enjoyed the last few posts you have written.

Enjoying Mqurice's posts is a very redeeming feature, LG. I find his rants a hoot, even when they're aimed in my direction (such as his totally uninformed post lampooning the Gorilla Game).

I'm surprised that someone with your perspective would let a few zingers about TA drive you from the thread. Most of us appreciate your rigorous approach to fortune telling <gg>, even if we don't trade. As far as the critics are concerned, consider it a normal state of affairs; in my experience, the only universally admired people are dead ones.
