There are a lot of companies diving into the CMOS image sensor area. It is indeed a reinforcement of how great a market SanDisk has targeted. I see the digital camera competition pounding down the cost of high quality digital still imaging and simultaneously pushing the pent up demand for flash memory cards even higher.
