I am not a journalist, but an historian manqué, and so not sure if writing it now I could attain the proper distance. It's like the difference between autobiography and biography. If I were to write a history of the current mania, I would consider SI itself to be a source par excellance for a history of the mania. But yer right, a history of the current mania would be more colorful and a hotter seller than a history of 1929. If we ever have a BK and we all know that BK is a myth.<g>
