Duh doesn't know whether he's coming or going. Already we've seen the rather funny spectacle of Republicans claiming what their government will do to "save" the education system. This from the same guys that wanted to abolish the department of education! And now the national parks... sheesh!

Duh might have scored if the issues at the forefront were taxes and national defense. The reality is that the issues that are in the limelight today are all traditionally strong Democrat issues -- education, social security, patients' rights, environment and so on.

<<Now, if after he leaves the State of Washington which is a very environmentally conscious state, he will proclaim that same message in other parts of the country, maybe he will get my attention. >>

Nice question, what will I have for breakfast tomorrow? As far as I know of his stances, he is a hunter and one great fisherman. Both of these groups want a good environment. I think he will be good for the environment. From what I read in Audubon he's better than Gore who still lets zinc be mined on his property and the run off pollute a bunch of water.

I'd rather see it spent there than to a bunch of whiny ass school teachers who are incapable of teaching children the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic. knc
