mr.mark, I respect you greatly. When I post my experiences with Palm/competition, please don't take it the wrong way. I am extremely overweighted in Palm stock, so I want Palm to innovate, excel, and dominate! But I also recognize if a competitor has a good product on the market. The HWP 545 is extremely easy to use also! It can do everything my Palm can do, with just as much ease! It is simple to use. The difference is the HWP 545 has the additional features: awesome color, 32 mb, 133 mhz, multimedia applications (recording device, music listening capabilities, and flash memory slot if more than 32 mb is needed). For all anybody who reads my opinions may know -- I may be a farmer carrying turnips to the market, but the associate editor of CNET does carry some credibility. My credibility is worthless unless you personally know me. I wouldn't trust me over the net either. I believe there is a misconception that the new C/E O/S devices are not easy to use like a Palm. It is just as easy. And I mess around with a Palm IIIC, Handspring Deluxe, and HWP 545 on a daily basis. I fully expect Palm to offer some great innovations before the holidays. Just my thoughts (no offense to Palm users/investors). My thoughts and $1.76 (due to the recent price increase) will buy you a cup of SBUX brew. ad
