i have absolutely no doubt that it will be mild, and neither has anyone else. which as it were was my point...if it does come in as mild as expected by everyone, it'll be a big yawn - all it can possibly do is surprise and disappoint. of course that's highly unlikely before the election, no matter what happens in the real world, which is also the reason why we can happily join the consensus in this case. still, at least headline PPI should show some upward tendency...after all energy has done nothing but go higher since the last set of numbers. but then we know the BLS too well by now...
