It doesn't look like Larry is saying "sorry for screwing up this time".

Instead of giving up his measly 2.7 million dollar salary, he got ADDITIONAL stock option of 6.4 million stock option at $13.75 strike price. ORCL is currently 81.75.

Which means at this point, Larry is giving up 2.7 X 4 = 10.8M, and received (81.75-13.75)x6.4M=435M.

Instead of 11 million, he is getting 435 million.
Sound like he is giving up a lot but is he?
Pretty smart kid, huh?
