Ahh, not this the DELL I know and Love

Got my Inspiron 5000e only a week after ordering,
probably cause it was an ordinary Win'98se machine.

I still suspect there are problems in production
with Win'2K models, but at least those issues are
not infecting the rest of their notebook division.

yeah, I got the $100, but what good is that gimmick
when they charge $150 for a DVD? I mean come'on!
everyone in the industry knows it cost just as much
to put a DVD in, as an old CD Reader!? What a jype!

I've complained on this thread a while back on how
DELL used to really ripp you off by putting in only
32mb when everyone else started at 64mb, and then
DELL would screw you on the upgrade costs. Well they
seem to have caught up to the entire industry by
starting you off at 64mb (even though most now are
starting off at 128mb...) Since DELL could not play
that game anymore, they instead screw you on the DVD.
Despite this, customers keep coming back, but that
does not mean they don't resent being taken!
