Hey, speaking of 'baseless', I note that the longtime Zidd Davis PC magazine, 'PC Computing' left itself recently for greener pastures and became 'Smart Business (For the New Economy)'. This month's cover reads; 'Life After Microsoft'. --- Just another baseless negative comment I suppose... -JCJ

Dave, your post seems to sidestep my question. You said about Windows ME:
It's too incompatible with too many machines, too many peripherals, and too much third-party software.

I asked on what did you base that information. You said that you've seen a lot of negative articles, but then stated that they only said Windows ME was unremarkable. Do these articles claim widespread hardware and software compatibility problems? If so, could you answer the specific question and point me to one?

Thanks,
Mike
