Excellent post brees! Well said!

Trust is the foundation upon which people engender followship. Leadership is about followship. Only the foolish would follow a liar as a leader. And even then, only for a brief period of time.

brees, you deserve a big pat on the back for that one. Trust and justice are never obsolete concepts, and a lot of us have lived diversity in our homes and neighborhoods and families. I am of Russian Jewish, southern Italian, and English descent, was raised, at different times, Jewish and Catholic, grew up in a racially integrated neighborhood, and have a sister- in- law who is black. I now live in an integrated neighborhood, out of preference. I have had Muslim and Hindu acquaintances, and a long standing interest in other traditions. A lot of the people we are talking about are actually pretty conservative, and are often tolerant enough as long as they are secure that they will be treated with respect. And, of course, the truly great irony is that the Web is notorious for being predominantly populated by conservatives and libertarians. High tech is pretty much an invention of the uncool, the unhip, and the downright square.......
