It's good to see Anand said this sample was very stable since so much depends on this and the 760MP chipsets. It's also good to see that when AMD moves to a platform that offers more memory bandwidth, performance actually improves rather than gets worse. ;)

That test was done on an early production sample using a 200MHz bus and PC1600 DDR SDRAM. By the time Mustang comes out we will have production motherboards with 266MHz bus and PC2100 DDR SDRAM.

Andreas,

The stream numbers for the Athlon DDR system that Anand tested look really bad. The stream numbers from the P4 test system were 300% higher. I thought that DDR was supposed to have comparable bandwidth to RDRAM. The stream numbers should have shown much more improvement than they did.
