Well, that makes me nervous since I am the worst timer in the world. However, ORCL is basically in its midrange its traded at for the past 3 months, between mid 70 and low 90, so it seems to me its limited in its downside.

This is just a guess and, the only bet I am making is that I am staying long -- as usual -- but ....

The noise out of Oracle leading up to Q4 was that they were not pushing to close deals to book them in the last FY. They said that they were trying to flatten out earnings across the year. The anecdotal stuff that you get from folks who deal with Oracle is that they were telling the truth. It was harder to get a real bargain from Oracle last May then it has been in prior Mays.

Couple that with whatever Oracle may feel that it has to prove to the world following Ray Lane's departure.

I bet they are going to clobber the estimates.

Now, they beat by a nickel in May. Then their thunder was stolen by the Microsoft trash fiasco and Lane leaving.

So, how about a dime? I will weigh in with the first entry in the pool. -- .23 is my guess. FWIW.
