<<Why is the bond dealer telling me that our San Jacinto limited obligation improvement bond is worthless? Is this another Orange county fiasco? I thought the streets of the LA basin were paved with gold and orange peels?>>

Could it be that the Golden Orange is paved with orange and banana peels?

San Jacinto.. shoot, I'm not sure where it is. Not Orange County or LA, I think. There's a mountain by that name.

What are you doing buying bonds from someplace you can't find? It could be out in the stinking Mojave Desert.

San Jacinto is way the hell out by Hemet. Banning. Beaumont. Probably in Riverside County, maybe San Bernadino.

The only thing they grow out there is earthquakes and dates. And maybe dirt. (sucker, sucker, sucker....)

There is good sailplane country out that way. My bro-in-law's club flies out near there. Maybe you can trade him your worthless bonds for a tow.
