i disagree on the semi cycle. we're getting one warning after the other, from semi equipment makers and contract manufacturers. there's no PC demand, and cell-phone demand is much weaker than was originally thought. also the SOX has produced a series of lower highs now, and is knocking on its 200-dma for the fourth time this year. i think it wants to break it. however, they might stage a rally simply based on the sea of liquidity provided by the Fed...but certainly not on fundamentals.
