well, SCI, which is the second largest contract manufacturer in the world, specifically cited weak demand as the reason for the earnings disappointment. the current semi cycle has already lasted longer than normal, and i have no doubt that the massive increase in capacity that's coming online over the next few months will coincide with a continued drop-off in demand. inflation in the real world is pinching consumers pockets everywhere....
