Godzilla gaming......

Godzilla gaming has some of the elements of Gorilla gaming, but it is a much higher risk/reward exercise. That's why we originally resisted inclusion of it on this thread, and some folks went off and started a Godzilla board.

Which subsequently died.
Because its in TRFM, and because its intertwined in Moore's vision, and because of massive shadow projected on everything by THE INTERNET, we should continue to remain open to discussion about Godzillas, or whatever you want to call them, here.

BTW, I notice that we hear very little from Moore or others about godzillas these days. Could it be that this was never a very well fleshed out concept, which he may intentionally allow to fade away?

UF, I think we are a lot closer to agreement than your post makes it sound.

The focus on the Technology Adoption Life Cycle and Gorilla Game metrics is specifically designed to identify companies that will be extremely profitable and fast growing.

I agree. I emphasized the "will be" to point out where we are in agreement. I agree with you completely that in the long run a gorilla will be profitable. I even said that in my post. The point I was trying to make is there's no rule in the GG that says you shouldn't invest in a potential gorilla that "will be" profitable just because it currently is not. If your point is that the rules of the G&K index are different, then you're point is made. But I wasn't nominating either ARBA or CMRC for inclusion in the G&K index.

I wasn't missing that Bruce is both a Gorilla gamer and a Godzilla gamer.

<One of the conventions we've adopted on this thread is to focus on profitable companies exclusively. That's a fixed rule for inclusion in the Gorilla and King Index.> Aha!! Another subtle clue as to why Globalstar is not yet on the GG hotlist.

Of course, you GGers should realize you miss a LOT of fun by waiting for the Tornado and just stepping in for the ride.

No elation then despair of Zenit, no gut-wrenching fall into the chasm, siliconinvestor.com no cleaning your own blood off the floor, no doldrums waiting for the breeze to pick up to a Tornado.

Milksops!
