You're not painting a very pretty picture for our future.
So, in essence- the government will take more and more of our income, and we'll get less and less in return. Sounds about right to me. <ng>

The canuck gov't needs to get with the program and tell you bigger and better lies like we do here.

Agreed, at least for now... the next recession/depression may again swing things the other way.

That said, I believe things can get out of hand re. Europe... they can tout their national statistics vs the U.S. all they want, but the fact is, there is no comparison to how the open U.S. system has benefited the worlds poor, albeit at the expense of it's own lowermiddle class in some cases. [all my opinion]
