Mike Buckley,

p. 343 of the RFM says:

"3. Pick individual stocks based on Icarus scores
.....

4. Don´t buy Baskets
Baskets strategy presumes an extended period of competition prior to a market leader emerging. The internet is moving faster than that...So if there is no time for basket economics to work themselves outm then the correct strategy is to pick individual stocks based on their GAP and CAP fundamentals."

Seems to me that you have been sleeping with the manual under your pillow for a long time in order to know it that well.

It's been a long time since I read the godzilla portion of the manual, but if I remember correctly the authors suggest NOT buying a basket of godzillas and instead recommend buying the leading candidate. Someone please confirm or correct my impression.

Mike,

Let me refresh your memory of the discussion of the godzilla B2B basket strategy from back in December of 1999:

You can link back from that post to refresh the discussion and confusion about Geoff's words that we went through.
