How can they use more than 100% of their capacity? :))


Maybe shifts related? Maybe 100% = 2 shifts a day, non-weekend? Just a guess.

Every well run fab has time slots alloted for equipment downtime, preventive maintenance, shift change inefficiencies, etc. These are factored into to their capacity calculations.

By reducing these items - through whatever means - they can effectively "increase" their capacity - beyond their original limitations.
