More on characters (as if the porch didn't have enough). Dealie uses what's call entity references. I tried character references (set 1) and some cut 'n' paste entities (set 2). My source is the links provided by utoronto.ca The card suit characters are in the third link. From the statements made at this site, you must have Netscape 4, because Netscape 5 should recognize (and have a font to represent) the card suit characters. That should be enough about characters on the porch. lurqer
