well, in the '30's, the shorts were singled out as scapegoats after the crash, but they kept their profits.

you can rest assured that anyone who dares to profit from the debacle will be better served to keep that fact to himself as best as is possible.

one area i'm really worried about are puts: i fear that if a true LLCF occurs, 'force majeure' may be invoked by parties on the hook - the very same parties that profited from selling the puts for years.
