The change I was referencing occurred around $90 and the upgrade at $120. The two events were almost four months apart.

Also, Kurlak was already looking at hedge funds PRIOR to the downgrade and the Intel meeting.

I don't think many Merrill brokers sold their clients out of Intel. They were familiar with Kurlak's potential to flip-flop. They often view Neutral-rated stocks as potential upgrade candidates.
