I agree. Just any way you want to play the market, seems harder now.

My horizon now is two years. Which when you think of it in pre-internet times, is still incredibly short. We have been spoiled. The heady time is over now. Gyrations of less magnitude are positive as we move forward.

As far as I can tell, most of us here now seem to accept this new reality. Which is good, as why jeapardize what one has if the reward may be limited?

Anindo: I agree -- this has not been an easy year. I missed JPM -- just could nt buy and hold it. I bought and sold it twice but made very little. Still, there are always some rays of light -- and I hope it all works out well for you.
