Lynn,
Between Veeco and Sandisk, Seagate management squandered at least several hundred million dollars by selling their stock in a way almost calculated to fetch less money than they should have. Of course they held on to the ZOOX, now around $7/share, not selling any when it was closer to a hundred than to zero. Cute. Didn't I read somewhere that Luzco had a personal stake in them? Maybe I'm wrong about that last one.

I don't know if anyone saw last week's Barrons. MacNamee was interviewed about tech stocks, along with Kevin Landis, whose funds own a big stake in Seagate. Neither of them mentioned either Veritas or Seagate in the interview, what a surprise. Wonder if MacNamee took Landis out to dinner afterward to schmooze him a bit.
