Alcatel Unveils Call Center Tech In France, Germany Dow Jones Online News, 09/14/2000 15:04 NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- Alcatel SA (ALA) released a call center software application in France and Germany, for small and medium-sized businesses. In a press release Thursday, the company said the application, designed to support up to 32 agents, is a PC-based system, integrating voice server and automatic call distribution. Alcatel's New York Stock Exchange-listed American Depositary Shares recently traded at $76.75, up $3.25, or 4.4%, on composite volume of 1.2 million shares. Average daily volume is 90.7 million shares. Alcatel provides integrated end-to-end voice and date networking systems.
