Any double precision floating-point application is a danger for AMD because SSE2 handle double precision number. Auto-Cad is the most important one I think. If Mustang can do double precision we are safe here.

I'm not impressed with that number...it would have to be a LOT higher for me to be concerned, like the gap between Athlon and Katmai last year. I care more about what improvement Athlon w/266MHz bus and DDR do for performance. Anand's mentions that the 760 is really stable make me feel good about the Athlon moving forward. Now we see if AMD can get the 760 launch to be great...

Should I dare ask what compilers were used?

Could be pure SSE2 not FPU.
