Most indicators (supply VS. demand VS. inventories) are positive for most of the base metals these days. That is the cause for the recent revival in the mining stocks (apart from local speculative plays). E.g. look at the charts for the major base metal players. The world is ready for a lot more nickel especially because of Falco's recent production/contract shortfall!

Part of the assay suite will address PGM's but I don't think it will be an issue. Considering that market they may give some numbers to boost any PR but I can't see it?. It is common in these areas to have interesting PGM "blips" here and there (e.g. 1-2 g/t).
