The asset thing is probable just depreciation. There should be an offsetting entry on the P&L for this.

The investment gains thing is getting sooooo tiring. WTF are these clowns gonna do when the market won't go up any more. This will all end so very badly.

I'm buying some more land in the woods.

Looks like much of the discrepancy in Cash is due to an offset in Income Taxes. The big drop in Receivables doesn't look good.
