Please add me to your ignore list. They should make it mandatory for people like you to learn the manners their parents didn't teach them before letting them lose on SI.

It is ignorant of you to assume the US is the only deciding factor in the world money markets. In case you did not realize, over the past 3 years BoJ has pumped far more money into the world markets than anyone else. They recently raised their rates and slowed down the rate of increasing liquidity. Similarly, EU is more inclined to raise rates than not, given the weak Euro and their rising fuel prices. As for the US, I'll let you read the Fed's last 6 month minutes and figure it out for yourself.

PS don't bother replying; you made it into my ignore list.

Ian,

This has been a valuable debate because there are real differences of opinion and they have been expressed intelligently and courteously. Attempts have been made to support arguments with facts. I would like stronger attempts, but I think the discussion is heading toward this.

I am writing because I would like a kinder, gentler Ian. I think you came down unfairly hard on Sun and the result is we have lost a potentially useful dialogue.

I have seen you become a stronger, more articulate, more confident, and more valuable poster over the years, but you seem to also be more impatient with "weak" (real or imaginary) posts.

With the best intentions,

Cary
