I've been buying in the lower 90's, planning to cover them with calls on the next 5+ point rally, whenever that is. Until then, not much to do but wait. I've also been looking at the MDY, mirrors the midcap 400, and is doing a bit better than the large caps lately. Lower volatility, so not as rich premiums, but might be better LTB&H.

I do the Qs with options. I try to catch the short term swings lasting 2-5 days. I just started doing this a few weeks ago but have done well. Still "adjusting" the approach, but like what I found with some look backs.

As I have mentioned earlier, I trade the NDX 100
(ie QQQ) with UOIPX - a ProFunds mutual fund that gives twice the daily move of the NDX (and therefore QQQ)

of course there is no margin, no options and also no commissions

Contemplating QQQ Long Combo tomorrow (02-90c & 02-80p) with a hope ( dream really) of closing the put portion when the Naz goes to 3300 and then cleaning up when Naz goes back above 4300 next year. Dreaming? Will keep you posted.
