OT.
I need any info that anyone can give me on the best networking software for about 150 macs.

Network includes G3's I Macs on down to LC 475's.

Need to be able to administer from any work station, have users save on the file server, have access to users disks by the administrator, sub administrator levels of access etc.

This is for a high school setting.
We have been using a product called Waterloo McJanet but it is not supported anymore beyond system 8 level.
Apple share just doesn't serve the needs of this organization.

Any and all advice (with URL's if possible) much appreciated.

After 3 years of running PC's I am back in the Apple world and a lot has changed.

Thanks in advance.

HG.

I'll betcha $5 bucks Apple doesn't sell it's OWN handheld this year. They'll go with another manufacturer and get a small cut.

I just don't think they're geared for the kind of competition that the handheld market is in.
